If you've found five keywords that are drawing a lot of traffic, I would recommend that you use those on your money site, since that is where you want the most traffic. Use the best keywords you find on your money site and use good keywords on your feeder sites.

Link popularity building is an important factor when it comes to SEO and search engine rankings and SEO Experts are always out to find different and effective way to do it.

Building a network of multiple websites and pointing links to the main website to increase its link popularity, but strong filters used by search engines detect link spamming and possibly penalize website that do this incorrectly.

The solution to this issue is to have multiple hosting providers with different C-class IP addresses (the first 2 numbers in an IP address) to help you build these networks. By putting traffic sites each on a different C-class IP, you can stay below the radars of the search engines and avoid tripping those filter described.

If you're interested in more information about C-class hosting, we recommend that you check the 30DC forums:

 I have been told by a highly respected SEO expert that this is no longer valid. Can someone please verify this information?

I have also been told by a couple SEO experts that it is no longer true that Google cares about multiple Class C IP addresses. Just wanted to add to this thread.

Can anyone verify this?

I can't speak for Google specifically, but I will guarantee that it is good practice to spread out over every medium possible.

This means utilize a bunch of web 2.0 functionality. Spread this among different accounts. Use several different hosting providers.

C Class IPs tend to be regional, so some websites have picked up on blocking entire C Class sections at a time.
