If you've just registered for the forum and find that you cannot start a new thread, please check your email for the verification link.

Once you've clicked on the link, we will be able to authorize your username.

I did not get a verification email. Even in my junk folder. I have waited for over 48 hours to get one.
I even gave up and tried to register again.. but it says you are a member..
I can log in but it says no start new threads...

Please let me join those who have gotten into this verification mess. I haven't had the need to post before but today I wanted to find out something that is not in the forums or not answered in the question board.

Since I can reply, here goes.

I would like to add a block of adsense to a post. Is there a facility to do such or do all adsense blocks function globally, as in only in sidebars?

And no I didn't receive any verification email with a link.

I'd appreciate attention to this matter.

Not sure what all your issues are. You are posting, so not being able to post is not an issue. Even though you posted in this thread.
I do not see your user name on the waiting list, so may I assume you DID get the verification email?

You can add Adsense into posts. Do that on the Ads and Banners page, the bottom section.
Click Adsense on the Ad type drop down list.
