How To Install New Plugins

First, you need to download the plugin to your computer.

You will have to access your web directory using an FTP client. If you don't already have one, you can download Filezilla for free. You will need to log in to the FTP client using the information on your "Website Settings" page of WPD.

Once logged in, you will need to upload the plugin folder from your computer to the plugin directory on your FTP. Here is the default directory:
public_html/wp-content/plugins

After you've uploaded the plugin, you can activate it by visiting the Plugins panel of wp-admin.

You can also do it via the plugin section of wp-admin.

I tried to, but I get an error for every one I attempt to install while in the Admin area of WP (not wp direct). That is - I install through WPDirect admin area and when I check my actual WP install I see errors:

The plugin addthis_social_widget_drop.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

The plugin duplicate-content-cure/duplicate-content-cure.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

The plugin ksm.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

The plugin ultimate-google-analytics/ultimate_ga.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

The plugin videos.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

The plugin wpd-ads.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

Have you tried installing through the wp-admin area.
To be clear, there are at least three ways to install a plug-in.
Via FTP to the plug-ins folder, from your computer, via WP Direct>>My Files, from your computer, and via the plug-in page of wp-admin.

You are confusing 'instal' with 'activate'.
You are trying to activate these plugins through WPD, They are not installed on your server so you get the error message.
You can get the plugins here: http://www.wpdirect.com/downloads/WPDplugins.zip (http://www.wpdirect.com/downloads/WPDplugins.zip)
Then just go into WPD in My Files, upload that ZIp from your 'puter and you should be able to activate.
