Hi,

I would like to add a banner on my blog. When I go to Ads & Banners Setup what do I do. I have the banner image on my hard drive. How do I upload it?
My problem is I don't understand the "To insert an image into your Ads content, use the token %IMAGE% in ....."
Can you please help?

Hi Demitris,
Now, when you say banner, I think across the top, under the header.
That is a little different that inserting an image into the Sales Offer which displays on the sidebar.
For a banner across the top or bottom you do it in the Ad a Banner Ads section at the bottom of the Ads & Banner Setup page.

You can title it, i never do since the banner says it all.
Ad Placement and Type are set at Top and Banner by default.
The Affiliate link goes next.
Then select Upload BannerYou get a browse option, go to the file you want.
Click Add Ad.

These banners will not always render in every theme. If you create a top and bottom banner and try different themes, you'll see when it will and will not show.

Now, in case you are talking about the Sales Offer... Select the Upload Bannerdot and choose your file.
Now copy and paste the %IMAGE% tag you see here in this text into the edit field: http://screencast.com/t/RcmyzHxZi
That tells the program where to put the image. Wherever you paste it, above text, amid text, or below text, the image will appear there.
Add the affiliate link if you want the image linked.
Click Insert Image or Save Sales Offer.

Which browser and OS are you using?

The site looks great. The side bar has 2 search and 2 Meta widgets.
One of each is prolly writ in by the designer.

As for promotion, there are promotional strategies that you can try. I'd need to know your level of experience. How much IM experience do you have?

You know the embed code?
When you are in the Write Post mode, click the HTML link on the toolbar. Then paste in the code.
Save the post and it's done.
You could still load up your inventory with content you screened. Then go and grab the codes when you want to put in a video. There is a function that let's you view your posts inside the Auto-content software. At that point you can copy the code.

In addition, when the video is embedded, you will only see a small gray, hooked link in the upper left of the edit area.

I am a gold member. Could that be the problem?

You may not have updated your software since you upgraded.
Try re-installing the pieces of software and see if that works.

I am also relatively new here. Although I have 6 active wpd sites already.

I have trouble setting up videos. I managed a spotmixer video as they gave me the code. As well as onetruemedia. They also gave me the code.

How do I get a video on the site that I created for instance in windows movie maker ?

I tried the image upload and I have a video uploaded but for the life of me I can't get it onto the post.

I don't know html although as a former programer I can read it well enough. not sure though about what code I could put in if it is a video file on my pc or from the media menu option on wpd.
