Left or Right Coloumn for SEO

Greetings Forum Folks,

Does where your coloumns are make a difference in "Optimizing" your SEO with a Word Press Direct blog? (or any blog for that matter)?

Also are there any themes that are more SEO "O'd"?

Hi Dave,
Others may know better than I, but I have heard the the Western eye is drawn to the left upon first entering a site.
As for the SEO, Guru Bob Somerville sat down with Marty from WordpressDirect and came up with the optimization scheme for WPD blogs.
Since Google has no eyeballs, my opinion is that they don't care what a site looks like, just that it has all the elements of the algorythm they use.
Of course, people will be your customers, so it does need to look appealing.
There is a whole field of science which studies the ergonomics of web pages.

That's the whole idea of the forum.
That is just my opinion though. Others are free to chime in, too.
