Making a Directory

Can someone tell me how I can make a product directory in the sidebar of my website. I am doing product reviews. I want my customers to be able to go to the sidebar and chose a brand and open to a product page.

So say I am selling batteries. I have the review on the main page of duracell batteries. Now in my sidebar I have a list of battery brands of duracell, rayovac, energizer etc. How do I do that?

Can you do it by writing a new page for each product?

Then the Page widget on the side bar would act as the directory.
